Tile Painting
LSA Art brings one of the oldest decorative art techniques to its Summer Camp Activities!
Tile painting is an elegant and decorative field of art which performs richness of color and pattern in a different way.
Our students have a wonderful chance to learn about the history of tile designs from the ancient world to Granada style, Portuguese and Dutch painted tiles, and the very modern techniques, while they are creating their own Hand Painted Tile which is one of the highest forms of artistic expressions.
This art practice could adjust itself in modern design and fashion too. So, if our students have ever dreamt of making their own hand-painted tiles; whether they are a complete beginner or an experienced designer, this program will teach them how.
Our students would learn about the artistic and scientific meanings that can be found in repetitive mathematical patterns of some designs.
Also, they will have the opportunity to experiment with various, effective techniques. No matter if the students do not have a creative background, we will assist them in the process, showing them examples of different drawing and painting techniques that will help them to complete their ideas.
